My research interests include Singapore Math strategies for elementary/middle school students and the use of Gait Analysis in predicting and preventing running-related injuries.
My teaching focuses on applied statistics, mathematics for elementary teachers, and educational assessment.
I am a member of the Illinois Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (IACTE) Licensure Subcommittee, am active in the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), and serve as a reader for the Advanced Placement Statistics Exams.
An avid runner and mountain biker, I enjoy sharing my passion for these sports through coaching and participating with running-related charity organizations such as Team in Training and St. Jude Heroes.
