Currently I am interested in researching physical implications of those with neurological disabilities. I am also attending Curriculum and Instruction doctoral classes at Illinois State University.
I enjoy sharing my experiences as a K-12 Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education teacher with the Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) students. I teach several KIN Methods of Teaching courses, Adapted PE, Motor Development and a variety of Health courses.
My professional activities include attendance at local IAHPERD conferences, writing articles for PE Central, and reviewing articles for Palaestra. This year I will share the IAHPERD conference experience with two EC students.
I am a wife and mother of twin girls. The girls keep me from being a workaholic and for this I am grateful. When I can find a few extra hours on a nice day, you will find me pulling weeds and gardening.
