Eureka's Science and Mathematics Division offers students an abundance of possibilities: eight majors, six minors, five secondary certification programs, plus a pre-professional programs for students interested in the health sciences. EUREKA'S SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT CHAIR

 

Professor of Biology, specializes in Microbiology and Genetics. He serves on many advisory groups for the prevention of AIDS and other infectious diseases. Dr. Small is the advisor for the occupational therapy, nursing, and clinical lab sciences programs at the college and offers lectures in Immunology and Infectious Disease for second year medical students at University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria. He was the recipient of the 1999 Helen Cleaver Distinguished Teaching Award. B.S. University of Calgary; M.S. and Ph.D. University of Cincinnati.
