The Performing and Visual Arts Scholarships are designed to recognize those students with outstanding talent in drama, music, or art. Grants/scholarships are awarded based on talent in those areas.
All freshman Art majors, minors and double majors are eligible for a $500 annually renewable portfolio-based scholarship. A portfolio review, one letter of reference from a former teacher and an artist’s statement are required before the scholarship can be awarded. The statement should include one page of career goals and a description of the art that is included in the portfolio. The portfolio review usually takes place either in the fall or spring semester prior to the first week of classes in the fall semester of the freshman year. Transfer students beginning their first semester at Eureka College are also eligible for a portfolio scholarship award.
