Begin your TRANSFERmation into a Eureka College student

So what is TRANSFERmation?

TRANSFERmation provides students the opportunity to interact with their peers and connect with current students, faculty, and staff to begin building relationships as they make the adjustment to life at Eureka College. The TRANSFERmation staff, along with the entire campus community, is committed to making your transition to college life as successful as possible.

During TRANSFERmation students will:

  • Meet their peers
  • Network with current students
  • Learn about campus resources
  • Activate email account
  • Meet representatives from campus services & programs

During TRANSFERmation family and guests will:

  • Receive additional information about the college and it resources
  • Gain insight into the adjustments students and families will face during the next few years
  • Become better acquainted with the campus and university personnel

Overview of student accounts, payment plans, Parent PLUS Loans, Alternative Loans and campus employment. Individual meetings will be scheduled with those students who have questions in regard to payment of student account.

11–12:15 Campus Engagement
Professional staff members from Student Programs & Services, Athletics, Melick Library, and the Learning Center will be available to discuss services provided at Eureka College and how to best utilize each service.

1:15–2:15 Campus Tour
Mingle with current students while touring campus. Learn about the best places to study, where to socialize between classes, places to eat on & off campus, and how to get involved. (Optional)

The student-advisor relationship is a cornerstone of Eureka College Education. At Eureka College, academic advising is a shared responsibility between faculty and students that enables students to benefit as fully as possible from the college experience. If you have not had the opportunity to register for classes prior to TRANSFERmation, a professional staff member in our Records Office will assist you with registration. (Optional)
