Summertime…that word rolls off of my tongue and brings a smile to my face. The campus takes on a different personality in the summer. Folks are relaxed and the campus pace is a bit more laid back. But don’t be fooled by the tranquility of summer on campus. There is still plenty of activity with Jumpstart, music, stage combat and athletic camps, along with planning and preparation for the new academic year. I confess that by summer’s end, I’m really ready for a full bustling campus again and putting our planning in action. But for now, I’m enjoying summer’s more relaxed pace. I hope you are too. |
