Move-In Day
The EC campus came alive on August 22 as students returned to campus for the 2009-10 academic year. The weather was beautiful and spirits were high with anticipation of starting the school year. The Alumni Board served as mobile greeters again this year with a gator full of water bottles to share with thirsty students, parents, and volunteers who needed a little refreshment after a long day of moving.

Eureka College Night at O’Brien Field
Eureka College’s banner was flying high at the Friendly Confines Deck of Pete Vonachen Stadium on Friday night, September 4. The Alumni Office hosted dozens of alumni, faculty, staff and friends of EC and enjoyed beautiful weather, an exciting ballgame, awesome fireworks, and the sound of “God Bless America” sung by EC alumna and alumni board member, Mickeisha Turner Armstrong ‘93. National School Colors Day
September 4 was also National School Colors day, and Eureka’s colors could be seen across campus all day long. Lots of Maroon and Gold was visible at the Chiefs Game as well (see above). Thanks to all of you loyal Red Devils for sporting your school colors that day.

Singing Through Italia
The 2010 Chorale Tour will be singing its way through Italy. Rome, Florence, and Venice are just a few of the stunning locations where Eureka College will be performing. Imagine being there as our own chorale brings the ancient cathedrals of Italy to life - Eureka College Style. Opportunities to travel with the chorale, along with select opportunities to sing with the chorale, are available. Space is limited.

EC Alums Recognize Coach Traister's 90th
Our own legendary Coach Leo Traister turned 90 years old on 9-9-09!
How cool is that?
To celebrate, a large crowd of EC alums and E-Tribe members past and present gathered on Saturday, September 19 during the football game half time, and serenaded Coach Traister with Happy Birthday. Cupcakes and coffee were served.
