Fall Has Befallen Campus

Shorter days, cooler nights….must be time for Homecoming! It's one of the best times in college life and one of the best memories for most alumni. Do you remember window/panel painting, chants, skits, torches, football, bonfires, parades and lots of tradition, like the awarding of Old Elm and the crowning of homecoming royalty? I hope you are making plans to return for Homecoming this weekend. It is a great time to renew friendships with fellow alumni, connect with your old professors and enjoy a great parade, tailgate cookout and football game. And then there is the post party at the Chanticleer this year (free food starting at 4 p.m. while it lasts!)
We can't wait to have you back home on campus!

Dr. Logsdon’s Studs Terkel Project

Dr. Loren Logsdon, Professor Emeritus of English, has captured the spirit of Eureka College history in a special project he fondly calls the “Studs Terkel Project.” The project is a collection of alumni memories and stories which weave a rich tapestry of the Eureka College experience during the '40s, '50s and '60s.

This installment was written and given to Dr. Logsdon by the couple themselves. Take a look and enjoy.
