Ahhhh Spring...

Spring has sprung early here at Eureka! The birds are singing, the crocus and daffodils are blooming, and the temperatures are hitting the mid 80's. In fact, it almost feels like we have moved directly into early summer. Before the lazy days of summer are truly here, there is a very busy spring calendar to attend to, most prominently, Alumni Weekend! Arrangements for the 1st ever Run With Reagan 5K run walk are coming together, thanks to our race chair Kelly Gschwend and TKE co-chair Brent Glass '13. Also new this year is the Pancake and Sausage Breakfast that will follow the race. Online registration is now available for all Alumni Weekend events. All of us at the College are excited to welcome YOU home.

Run With Reagan

Attention all runners, walkers, and philanthropists! Eureka College’s Alumni Office and
TKE fraternity have come together to offer an exciting and healthy way to kick off  your Alumni Weekend this year! Through this partnership we have created the blueprints of a 5K race/ 1 mile walk called “Run With Reagan.”

The race’s intention is to foster a fresh annual event that will kick-off the Saturday of Alumni Weekends to come. While holding a 5K promotes a healthy lifestyle for an individual’s body, it also promotes a healthy lifestyle of giving back. The proceeds from this event will go directly to the Reagan Museum as well as the Alzheimer’s Association, hence the incorporation of Reagan’s name.

So join us this Alumni Weekend on April 21, 2012 and join the new tradition of living healthy, physically and soulfully, in the First Annual Run With Reagan 5K.

25th Reunion of the Class of 1987

Can you believe it has been 25 years since we were all together in Rinker Theatre, holding the Ivy Chain and singing the Alma Mater, looking at each other and wondering, ‘Where do we go from here?”
Well, the reunion committee of the class of 1987 is hoping that the classes of 1985, ’86, ’88 and '89 will join the Class of 1987 right back home home to EC to reminisce about all that has happened to us in the last couple of decades! Here’s what we have planned. Mark your calendars now and join us for a Reunion Party here on campus, June 9 in the Cerf College Center. Cocktails, Dinner, Live music and great memories relived are the order of the evening. Contact the Alumni Office at alumni@eureka.edu for details.
