Commencement!

What a great word indicative of new beginnings, moving forward, fresh starts.
As I watched the class of 2012 graduate, I once again tasted the bitter sweetness of transition from student to adulthood.  Friends who have shared four years of memories moving forward into the new realities of graduate school, pursuing a career, establishing oneself in a new community, building a family and leaving behind the people and place that has become “HOME.” The great news for these graduates is the world is their oyster. The additional good news is that the Eureka College family will always welcome home their alumni with open arms. Staying connected has become easier through social media and the variety of alumni events that are planned on campus and throughout the country.
So, Class of 2012, go and find your pearls in the ocean of life, remembering that your alma mater is here for you to return home to as often as you can. We look forward to welcoming
you back home with open arms.

Charles "Chuck" E. (Babe) Geitner >

Class of 1957

Dr. Loren Logsdon, Professor Emeritus of English, has captured the spirit of Eureka College history in a special project he fondly calls the "Studs Terkel Project." The project is a collection of alumni memories and stories which weave a rich tapestry of the Eureka College experience during the '40s, '50s and '60s.

The book of these stories is available on the NEW online EC Bookstore >

Hey Graduates! Got Email?

2012 graduating seniors have the ability to keep their existing Eureka e-mail addresses.  They do not have to request this from IT Services as the account will not be removed from the system.  This is only for graduates who have successfully graduated from the college.
E-mail accounts that are inactive for more than three months are subject to removal from the e-mail system. So, if you are retaining your Eureka.edu email account the alumni office would love to know. If you are using an alternate email address, we would like to know as well.
