Greetings!
Celebrating where the Magic Begins…that’s the perfect phrase to describe the month of October for those of us who love Eureka College.
There was a special feeling in the air during Homecoming when hundreds of alumni returned to where the magic begins for so many of us who have studied here ‘neath the elms. Celebrating with those who share the love of their alma mater, their classmates, and FOOTBALL is MAGICAL! The following week brought major donors, trustees and commission alumni back to celebrate an outstanding year of giving and discuss Eureka’s commitment to service learning and how it is done “Eureka Style.” Last weekend was the 2nd annual Rocktober in Vegas where alums spent the weekend enjoying a great block party, a Cirque du Soliel show and a gospel brunch at the House of Blues, all arranged by a gracious alumni host sharing his town with Eureka College family. It has been a magical month for sure and a very gratifying one, connecting with so many that care about Eureka.
