Alumni Weekend is here! The weekend of April 13-15 is complete with events to please alumni of all ages. First of all, Run with Reagan, the Leadership Conference, & the Golden E Club Celebration are back! Additionally, alumni and guests are welcome to stop by the Science Expo to see our new Chemistry & Criminal Justice Labs. On Saturday afternoon, Rinker Theatre will be bustling with the Walnut Grove Festival. A highlight of the weekend is the Celebration Dinner when we recognize our 2018 award recipients, faculty retirees, and Golden E’s. Alumni Weekend is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and to experience the excellence of our students through networking, concerts, and exhibits. The weekend holds something for everybody!
Alumni Weekend kicks off on Friday evening. The evening features the Young Alumni Panel Discussion when some of our recent graduates return to campus to mentor our students. This year they will focus on “What I’ve Learned Since College.” Join us for a post reception with our seniors. They are eager to hear your words of wisdom as they prepare to enter the real world. Friday evening events are free and open for alumni, friends, and current students.
Saturday events present time to mingle with friends, catch up with professors, and network with students. You can even fit in your workout! Begin your day by running in the Run with Reagan 5K where you can retrace the footsteps of Ronald Reagan. After the pancake breakfast, our students are ready to learn from you and alongside you during the Leadership Sessions. Afterwards, alumni and students are invited to dine at our luncheon featuring the Alumni Award Recipients. Enjoy our beautiful campus in the afternoon with friends by strolling through the Walnut Grove Festival in Rinker Theatre or tap into your creativity during the Burgess Gallery Art & Wine afternoon featuring Professor Rhea Edge. Saturday evening is a celebration honoring our Class of ’68 Golden E’s, college retirees & Alumni Award Recipients.
Alumni Weekend carries throughout the entire weekend. Our Sunday events will refresh your spirit. Start your day with us at Eureka Christian Church Services followed by brunch at the Commons. Retiring professors, Dr. Joe Henry and Pam Bates have arranged a beautiful Spring Chorale Concert with a special reception celebrating members of the Loyalty League.
It is not too late to make plans for our best alumni weekend yet. Registration is open and we are ready to welcome you home.
