Spring 2011 A.D. Honor Roll List
EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College Director of Athletics Paul Bryant announced the Director of Athletics Honor Roll for the Spring 2011 semester on Thursday. A total of 76 student-athletes, including 12 multi-sport student-athletes, received the honor.
Student-athletes from 16 different Eureka teams were chosen to receive the award. The Eureka football team placed a department-high 17 players on the A.D. Honor Roll. Baseball was next with 10 recipients, while six women’s tennis players earned the award, more than half of its 2011 roster.
“I am very proud of the dedication to the classroom displayed by our student-athletes,” Bryant said. “We will continue to hold our student-athletes to a great academic standard as we look to greater success in the future.”
Eureka student-athletes must earn at least a 3.0 grade point average for the semester to earn a spot on the A.D Honor Roll, which is announced after the fall and spring semesters. The A.D. Honor Roll was introduced at Eureka in the summer of 2009.
