Durley's Historic Night Leads Eureka Past Presentation

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Eureka College junior quarterback Sam Durley (Roanoke, Ill./Roanoke-Benson H.S.) set single-game Eureka records with 29 completions, 478 passing yards and eight touchdown passes, leading the Red Devils to a 55-27 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference victory over Presentation, Saturday night at Swisher Field in Aberdeen, S.D. The victory improves the Red Devils to 2-0 in UMAC play, Eureka’s first 2-0 conference start since 1994. Keep Reading>

Welcome to Eureka College and the athletic website. I am thrilled to know that you are visiting our institution. You will find that the department is committed to providing opportunities for student athletes to achieve at the highest levels in the classroom and on the playing fields while experiencing personal growth. My focus within the athletics department is finding ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. The quality coaching staff, trainers, equipment managers and administrators understand what it takes to operate a great program. In turn, when you build a great program, the best people have a way of finding your program as you have just done. I believe that an athletics department is a unifying force in the campus community and a catalyst for creating pride and support among external constituencies.

So, I would like to welcome you to Eureka College and the athletic department. I hope your experience is gratifying.
