Baseball Hitting camp set for June 22-26

Head baseball coach Mike McDonald and the rest of the Red Devils baseball staff will conduct a Baseball Hitting Camp June 22-26 at Henry Sand Field on the campus of Eureka College.

The camp is open to boys from ages 8-18.  Campers will be broken up into smaller groups to provide individualized instruction.  There will be four hour-long sessions beginning at 8:00 am each day with 8-10 year-olds.  The 11-13 year-olds group is scheduled to run from 9 to 10 am, followed by 14-15 year-olds from 10 am to 11 am and 16-18 year-olds from 11 am to Noon.  Cost of the camp is $90 for all ages, which includes a t-shirt.  The EC Reagan Center gym will be used in the event of inclement weather.

Coach McDonald recently completed his first year as head baseball coach at Eureka, helping the Red Devils to their best season this decade.  He has previously spent 24 years leading the baseball program at Morton High School, and was a Class AA catcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
