Pritzger, Koltveit Pace Red Devils at Brissman-Lundeen Invitational
DAVENPORT, Iowa – Eureka College freshman Rebecca Koltveit (Pontiac, Ill./Pontiac H.S.) ran a 5K time of 27:23 on Friday and junior Nathan Pritzger (Morton, Ill.) turned in an 8K time of 34:35, leading the Red Devils at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana at the Credit Island Golf Course in Davenport, Iowa.
Koltveit led a group of four EC women’s runners with a 278th place finish. She was followed by junior Mary Ackerman (Morton, Ill./Morton H.S.) in 306th place with a time of 29:21. Sophomore Samantha Peacock (Bartonville, Ill./Limestone H.S.) finished the course in a time of 33:33 for 320th place, while freshman Samantha Krause (Altona, Ill./ROWVA H.S.) rounded out the EC runners with a time of 33:35 for 321st place.
On the men’s side, Pritzger finished 343rd for the Red Devils, while senior Jason List (Mason City, Ill./Illini Central H.S.) was 357th with a time of 45:16.
The Red Devils will be off next weekend before returning to action Friday, Oct. 9 at the Cowbell Classic hosted Principia in Elsah, Ill.
