Sophomore (2010): Played in all 10 games, making nine starts as Eureka’s primary quarterback ... Finished the campaign 134-for-285 for 1,994 yards and 12 touchdowns ... Named to the All-UMAC Second Team ... Ranked second among UMAC quarterbacks with 199.4 passing yards per game ... Finished the season on a high note, throwing for 1,173 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final five games of the year ... Set a new career-high with five touchdown throws in a win over Northwestern (Minn.) on Oct. 23 to earn UMAC Player of the Week accolades ... Completed 19 passes for 358 yards at Greenville on Nov. 7, both career-bests.  

Freshman (2009): Appeared in the final nine games of the regular season as the backup to UMAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year Nick Lindsey ... Went 28-for-65 for 496 yards and five touchdowns ... Threw his first career touchdown pass in a win over Martin Luther on Sept. 19 ... Recorded a pair of touchdown throws in Eureka’s win at MacMurray on Oct. 24 ... Set season-bests with eight completions and 169 passing yards against Crown on Nov. 7. 

High School: Played for current EC head coach Kurt Barth as part of the Eureka-Roanoke-Benson co-op ... Earned All-Corn Belt Conference honors ... Led the Hornets to an IHSA state playoff appearance as a junior in 2007 ... Set school records with 375 passing yards in a game and 121 completions in a season. 

Personal: The son of Pat and Jill Durley, Sam was born Oct. 29, 1990 ... Has two siblings, Marisa (22) and Reed (17) ... Sam’s sister, Marisa, was a member of the Eureka volleyball team from 2007-10 ... Majoring in physical education.
