Recruiting the Red Devil Way
Our philosophy
Philosopy - we recruit with honesty and intelligence
T.A.C.
T -- talent: recruitment of top talent to our level ensures the potential of success on the playing field; special emphasis is placed upon athleticism & speed.
A -- attitude: although you can change and develop a player's attitude, recruiting a player with a positive team-oriented attitude saves time and avoids future problems.
C -- class/character/chemistry: this also is developed over time, however understanding the recruit's character will help determine if he is a good "fit" into our program.
We will strive to build positive relationships with all recruits. Written records of contacts are kept to ensure we are operating in accordance with all school, conference, and NCAA rules & regulations.
Players
Current players are an integral part of recruiting. They are the college's ambassadors when spending time with recruits. Our players have developed strong communication skills and feel comfortable speaking honestly to recruits and their families.
Alumni
They are perhaps are best recruiters. We maintain a current database on the location of all football alumni. We use this database to help in our recruiting efforts, whether locally, regionally, or nationally. Our alums are a strong and tight network, which is always nice to be part of when looking for that first job!!!!!

The
lower the number the better. We want to recruit 1's and 2's, however 3's have
performed well with hard work and good attitudes.
