Pioletti Paces Red Devils at IWU Invite
NORMAL, Ill. – Eureka College sophomore Joe Pioletti (Eureka, Ill./Eureka H.S.) shot a two-round of score of 174, helping the Red Devils to a 24th place finish at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational at Ironwood Golf Course.
Pioletti finished in a tie for 101st overall. He was followed by junior teammate T.J. Schopp (LeRoy, Ill./LeRoy H.S.) with a score of 181 for 117th place. Illinois Wesleyan won the team title, while Shay Womack of Rhodes College won the event with a two-round score of 147.
The Red Devils will return to competition this Friday at the Millikin Big Blue Classic at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur, Ill.
