Red Devils Close Season in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Eureka College golf team brought its 2012 golf season to a close Wednesday afternoon at the Illinois College Invitational hosted at The Links in Jacksonville, Ill. The Red Devils earned a runner-up finish in the three-team tournament, shooting a team score of 365.
Sophomore Pete Moyemont (Dwight, Ill./Dwight H.S.) placed in a tie for fourth place overall in the one-day event, firing over nine-over par 81. Freshman Ethan McPherson also earned a top-10 finish, carding an 87 to land in eighth place.
Host Illinois College won the team championship with a 318. St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival MacMurray placed third at 367.
