Eureka College to Host Fall Hoops Festival

Registration Form

EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College men’s basketball program will host the 2009 Fall Hoop Festival on Friday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Reagan Center on the campus of Eureka College.  Boys and girls from first through eighth grades are invited to participate in the clinic directed by third-year Eureka head coach Chip Wilde and the men’s basketball team.

The cost is $25 per camper and will include the clinic, lunch, a t-shirt and certificate of participation.  Registration forms can be found at grade schools and middle schools in Eureka, Goodfield and Congerville and the Eureka College athletics website.  To sign up for the clinic, send the registration form and payment to the Eureka College men’s basketball office, 300 East College Avenue, Eureka, Ill. 61530.  Campers may also register at the door on the day of the camp.

The clinic will focus on skill development, games and contests.  Campers will need gym shoes, shorts and a t-shirt to participate.  The Reagan Center will open at 8 a.m. on the day of the event for early bird shooting until the clinic begins at 9 a.m.

“Our camps and clinics offer a great experience for both the participants and the Eureka College student-athletes,” Wilde said.  “These young athletes will receive instruction by college coaches and players from a Christian institution and it is a great opportunity for our student-athletes to serve our community.”
