Eureka Softball Opener at Knox Postponed
EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College softball season-opening doubleheader scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. against non-conference rival Knox in Galesburg, Ill. has postponed because of inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. The doubleheader is expected to be rescheduled in Galesburg, but a date has not been set.
Eureka will continue preseason workouts and now open its 31st season in program history against Berry (Ga.) on Sunday, March 13 at 9 a.m. on the campus of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. The Red Devils will take on host Rhodes later that day and play a total of eight contests during their five-day spring break trip through Tennessee and Mississippi.
