Eureka Softball to Host "Pitch For Pink" Event Saturday
EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College softball team will host a “Pitch for Pink” fundraiser as part of its St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader versus Webster this Saturday at 1 p.m. in Eureka. The Red Devils will wear special pink uniforms and collect donations throughout the day for Susan G. Komen For the Cure.
The Red Devils and fourth-year head coach Stacey Sparks will sell raffle tickets for a “Pitch For Pink” gift basket with proceeds going to Susan G. Komen For the Cure. All cancer survivors will be invited to recognized during an on-field ceremony in between games during the doubleheader. Individuals interested in purchasing a “Pitch For Pink” t-shirts will be able to place an order on Saturday.
