Wetterauer duo leads Red Devils at home meet
EUREKA — The sister tandem of Alyssa and Natalie Wetterauer (Washington, Ill./HS) led the Red Devils swim team at the Eureka Sprint Meet held at Reagan Pool Saturday.
Kelsey Hale (Hood River, Ore./Valley) took third place in the women's 50-yard butterfly, while Meghan Burger (Palos Heights, Ill./Stagg) posted a personal best time in the 50-yard freestyle.
Aaron Phelan (Eureka, Ill./HS) owned the best finish for EC in the men's races, taking third place in the
Sophomore John Isom (Coon Rapids, Minn./HS) also posted a personal best in the 50-free, coming home in 0:29.74.
Augustana College won the team championships for both men and women. The Eureka men ranked fourth, while EC took fifth in the women's standings.
The Red Devils will next take part in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Meet held at Principia College Saturday, February 9.
