Summer Basketball camp set for June 9-12

 

Eureka College women's basketball coach Abby Hearn has announced her girl's basketball summer camp for 2008.  The Individual Day Camp for girls entering grades 4-10 will run from June 9-12.

 

The camp will run each day from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at a cost of $125 per camper.  A water bottle, camp t-shirt, basketball and lunch will be provided for each camper.  Campers will need to bring gym shoes, shorts and a t-shirt to participate.  Registration begins at 8:00 am on June 8 and an
All-Star and awards ceremony will conclude the camp on June 12. Spots are still open and registration forms will be available at the door on the first day.

 

Second-year Eureka Head Women's Basketball coach Aby Hearn, who has 6 years of experience running youth camps in Minnesota and North Dakota, will conduct the camp on the campus of Eureka College.  The camp is held in a small private school environment focusing on rules, regulations, strategies, teamwork and developing positive attitudes.  It will cover the fundamentals of basketball, as well as advanced skills through drills, contests and games.  There will be a strong emphasis on learning and having fun!
