Enter the Pink Zone with EC Basketball Saturday

Are you man or woman enough to enter the Pink Zone?  The Red Devil basketball teams certainly are.  Come out to the Reagan Center this Saturday as the Red Devils take on conference rival Maryville University starting at 1:00 pm.  Wear pink to the game as the Eureka women's basketball team helps support the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Pink Zone initiative for raising breast cancer awareness.  The Red Devils themselves will even be wearing pink in the game.  Eureka is one of over 1,500 teams and organizations participating in the nation-wide Pink Zone event this year.

Be sure to use your imagination with your pink outfits as the craziest pink-clad fans will win prizes such as Eureka basketball apparel and pink crocs.  There will also be a Mary Kay representative raffling off a $50 gift basket and a 50/50 drawing.  All money raised by the 50/50 drawing will be donated to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, which is the Pink Zone's charity of choice and named after long-time North Carolina State coach Kay Yow, who died January 24 after her third bout with breast cancer.

Then, you will want to hang around for the men's basketball showdown with Maryville at 3:00 pm.  The Red Devils are still in the hunt for a league championship and need your support for a big win over the Saints, who are currently in third place in the conference.
