Women's Basketball Pink Day Scheduled For Wednesday
EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College women’s basketball team will host its annual “Pink Day” as part of the Red Devils’ St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader with Blackburn Wednesday at the Reagan Center at 6 p.m. Fans from both schools are encouraged to wear pink at the event.
The Red Devils will honor all breast cancer victims by wearing pink shooting shirts and collecting donations for Susan G. Komen for the Cure during Wednesday's event.
Eureka will aim for its eighth consecutive victory when the Beavers visit on Wednesday. With six regular season games remaining, the Red Devils are 15-3 overall and 9-2 in the SLIAC. Eureka needs one more league victory to clinch its first-ever SLIAC Tournament berth.
