Volleyball to Host "Dig Pink" Event Tuesday Night
EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College volleyball team will host its second annual “Dig Pink” event on Tuesday night at the Reagan Center to create breast cancer awareness and raise money for breast cancer research. The Red Devils will wear special pink uniforms in their matches against Lincoln Christian and the Milwaukee School of Engineering starting at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the event. The coaching staff, players and athletics staff will sell t-shirts and hold raffle drawings throughout the event. Fans will also be encouraged to participate in games and contests on the court during breaks in action. All proceeds raised from the event will go to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The Red Devils will host Lincoln Christian at 3:30 p.m. MSOE will play Lincoln Christian at 5:30 p.m. before the Red Devils return to the court at 7:30 p.m. to face MSOE. Eureka already owns a five-set win over MSOE in Milwaukee last month.
