CONSORTIUM SERVICES

The Eureka College Career Services Office is affiliated with several associations that provide access to a multitude of career services. Listed below are the Associations and a brief description of the the services offered to Eureka College Students and Alumni through these associations.

ISCPA - Illinois Small College Placement Association

Membership is limited to small liberal arts colleges and universities with enrollments of less than 3,000 students. Career services personnel serve as board members and along with the general membership sponsors an annual Job Fair and Teacher Fair, andoffers services over the internet, as well as coordinates on-campus interviews for all the schools.

Services Offered:

• Job Postings for Internships, Teaching, and Full-time Degreed Positions Member schools throughout the state of Illinois post job openings for internships, teaching positions, and full time degreed positions.
  

• Interview Network Member schools arrange for campus recruiters to interview on their campuses. Students of the member schools are invited to send resumes in and those chosen for interviews will interview at the host school site on the pre-determined day.

• Resume Referral: Students of member schools are invited to post their resumes on the ISCPA WebSite and employers are given access to the database of resumes, upon approval of our resume program administrator.

• CareerFest: Annual job fair held in Oak Brook, IL on the first Friday of February. Over 150 employers attend this fair that brings over 1,200 students from the member schools for a day of meeting and interviewing with potential employers.
  
  

• TeacherFest: Teacher Fest occurs in February. Again all students of member schools are invited to attend this event which invites every school district in the state of Illinois. Watch for posters around campus.
  
  

• Interview Day: Interview Day is a program typically held in the Fall for primarily business and accounting majors. Students interested in internships and full-time post bachelor degree positions are invited to submit resumes. Following the review of resumes, applicants will be invited to attend and conduct interviews with select companies.

Gateway Career Services Association

Member schools include all college and universities in the Southern Illinois and Northern Missouri areas. In addition to the job fairs offered, this association also hold employer/career center breakfasts and sponsors professional development activities.
