Position - A tenure-track professorship with specialization in Physical Chemistry and Physics.
The College - Eureka is a small residential liberal arts college located equidistant between the cities of Peoria and Bloomington/Normal. Eureka currently has almost 650 students enrolled in 30 degree programs and has over 5,000 living alumni. Chartered in 1855 to provide a “non-sectarian liberal arts” education by abolitionists who were members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Eureka was the first college in Illinois and the third in the nation to admit men and women on an equal basis (see http://www.disciples.org/ and http://www.helmdisciples.org/ for additional information about the Christian Church and the affiliation with Eureka College).
