Assistant Softball Coach

 

Position

The Assistant Softball Coach assists the head coach at practices and games, with scouting of opponents, and with recruiting of quality student-athletes.  This is a year-round, part-time position. 

Eureka College is a member of the NCAA Division III and the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

 

The College

Eureka is a small residential liberal arts college located equidistant between the cities of Peoria and Bloomington/Normal. The campus is situated on 112 wooded acres with 24 academic and residential buildings in the city of Eureka, Illinois. Focused on “excellence in learning, service, and leadership,” Eureka graduates include forty-two college presidents, seven governors and members of Congress, and the 40th President of the United States. Eureka currently has almost 700 students enrolled in 30 degree programs and has over 5,000 living alumni.  The College is cited as one of fifty national “All-American Colleges” by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Position Requirements

Associate degree is required.  Playing experience and previous coaching experience is desired.
