AQUATICS DIRECTOR/SWIM AND DIVE TEAM COACH

 

 

 

 

Position

 

In the role of Aquatics Director, the successful candidate will oversee the operations of the aquatics department and programs, manage budget, and supervise student lifeguards, swim instructors, and water aerobics leaders.  Additional, but not all-inclusive, responsibilities as Head Swim and Dive Team Coach are to plan, organize, lead, and direct a Division III NCAA program, including student-athlete recruitment.  Part-time position averaging 20 hours per week.

 

 

 

The College

 

Eureka is a small residential liberal arts college located equidistant between the cities of Peoria and Bloomington/Normal. The campus is situated on 65 wooded acres with 24 academic and residential buildings in the city of Eureka, Illinois. Position Requirements

 

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.  One to five years’ experience in aquatics management combined with participation or coaching experience at the high school, club, and/or collegiate level is required.  Candidate must possess, at minimum, current CPR for the Professional Rescuer; AED, O2, and First Aid certifications; proficiency in swimming and safety skills, and final candidate must pass a water skills test and written exam.  Valid driver’s license is required.
