DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
The Director of Marketing and Communications provides marketing and communications leadership to the college community. Advises and assists the President, Vice Presidents, and the heads of academic and administrative units in establishing goals, developing suitable strategies and tactics, implementing programs, and evaluating results. Designs, coordinates, and evaluates college-wide marketing and communications programs. Manages department budget. Supervises three positions - media relations coordinator, web coordinator, and creative services coordinator. The Director reports directly to the President. This is a full-time, 12-month position, with attractive fringe benefits package.
Eureka is a small residential liberal arts college located equidistant between the cities of Peoria and Bloomington/Normal. The campus is situated on 65 wooded acres with 24 academic and residential buildings in the city of Eureka, Illinois. Eureka currently has almost 800 students enrolled in 25 degree programs. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college or university and three-five years of post-baccalaureate professional marketing and communications experience is essential. Previous supervisory experience required. Graduate degree and marketing/communications experience in higher education preferred. Experience with budget management desired.
