Mr. Charles Burns

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Associate Professor of Accounting has a diverse education with degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and a minor in Industrial Technology. Additionally, he completed a master's degree in Accounting and was awarded the Outstanding ISU Graduate Student in Accounting. Professor Burns' education is complemented by his professional work experience, which includes both public and private accounting: he has worked for small and large manufacturers and in a public accounting firm. Mr. Elmer Brown

Lecturer in Accounting and Economics. He started his teaching career at Heartland Community College in the summer of 1995 and remained there until the present as an Adjunct Faculty member. He started at Eureka College started in 1999. B.A. Eureka College, M.S.A. Illinois State University. email

Mr. Harry Fisher

Associate Professor of Business Administration. He received his B.S. and M.B.A. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was most recently Visiting Associate Professor of Management at Central College, Pella, Iowa. email

 

Mr. Arthur G. Greenberg

Distinguished Lecturer in Business Administration and Criminal Justice. Greenberg is a lawyer and former Resident Circuit Judge of Peoria County, Illinois. He is a trained mediator, former prosecutor, former recipient of the Helen Cleaver Distinguished Teaching Award, and past President of the Peoria County Bar Association. Mr. Paul Lister

Associate Professor of Business Administration. In addition to teaching courses in marketing and management. He came to Eureka after more than twenty years in Hawaii where he was in medical services administration and served as president of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce. He is recently retired from the Army Reserve as a Major General. B.S. New Mexico State University; M.S.W. and MBA University of Hawaii. email

 

Ms. Marjorie Rubash

Associate Professor of Business Administration, has 15 years experience in teaching business. Courses she has offered include business finance, investments, statistics and quantitative methods. Between semesters and during summer breaks, She is often found in London, Munich, Innsbruck, Prague, Malta, or some other European location. During the last 15 years, she has taken over a thousand college students to Europe. Her research interests include examining the value of international experiences for college students. Much of her work has been with the Prague University of Economics in the Czech Republic. She holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Bradley University. email

Dr. Junius Rodriguez

Associate Professor of History, and division chair, specializes in African American History and has done extensive research on slave revolts. He has published several award winning reference encyclopedias on various aspects of the history of slavery and also developed a History Channel documentary on slavery. Professor of History, specializes in European History and has traveled extensively throughout Europe. He is also past president of the Peoria World Affairs Council and founder of the Eureka Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu, the Social Science Honor Society. Dr. Wesley Phelan

Associate Professor of Political Science, specializes in constitutional law and is the college's pre-law advisor. He has edited and contributed to study guides for preparation for the Law School Admissions Test, the Advanced Placement in Political Science Test, and the Graduate Record Exam. Dr. Phelan has published numerous articles and is a regular contributor to the Washington Weekly, a US national politics electronic magazine, and to WorldNetDaily. PSYCHOLOGY

 

Dr. Mikell Allen

Assistant Professor of Psychology, specializes in Clinical Psychology, with a certificate in Health Psychology. She has had clinical training in the areas of substance abuse and addictions, GLBTQ, HIV+, veterans, psychotic disorders, and general private practice populations including depression and anxiety. Dr. Allen has had informal training in QEEG and neurofeedback therapy, neuropsychology, and has had Level I Gottman Method Couples Therapy training. She teaches the clinical/counseling track courses at Eureka College, and loves bringing her clinical experiences into the classroom and sharing them with the students. She enjoys serving as co-faculty advisor to the Psychology/Sociology Club and as faculty advisor to the Eureka Alliance. Dr. Allen also works part time conducting psychotherapy and assessments for John R. Day, & Associates. Dr. Ann Fulop

Associate Professor of Psychology specializes in human-technology interaction and innovation. She has worked in several industries including aeronautics, telecommunications, computing and insurance. She has presented research papers at Human Factors Society conferences. Ann is happy to guide students through their research projects. SOCIOLOGY

 

Dr. William J. Staudenmeier, Jr.

Professor of Sociology, is a nationally known specialist on drug and alcohol problems in the workplace. A West Point Graduate, he helped pioneer workplace treatment programs for military addicts and alcoholics as an Air Force Social Actions Officer in the early 1970's. Over the last decade, he has given international scope to his work by conducting research in the United Kingdom and presenting research papers in England, Scotland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and France. Additionally, Professor Staudenmeier has been a Visiting Scientist at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and a Visiting Fellow at Cornell University. Dr. Staudenmeier is Past President of the Illinois Sociological Association and past member of the Board of Directors of the Midwest Sociological Society. B.S.
