Zane ridings
Eureka College student Zane Ridings from Salem, Oregon, attends Eureka College as a full-tuition Disciples Leadership fellow. Zane completed a mentorship in Scotland, traveling to the ecumenical community of Iona.
During the summer of 2012, Zane travelled to Scotland for a spiritual journey made possible by the Disciples Leadership Program. During his visit, Zane spent two weeks at the Iona ecumenical community, where he spent his time learning about social justice issues in the context of progressive Christianity, prayed, sang, hiked and communed with Christians from all over the world.
Zane is currently a student intern at Eureka Christian Church, where he leads youth group programming with DLP fellow, Rachel Tapp.
“Having a group of people to support me not only in my ministry, but also in my schoolwork has been phenomenal. I have learned and continue to learn so much about myself and where my passions lie and Eureka has allowed me to explore what I want to do with my life in safe, open environment.”
