Mary fitch - ministry fellow
May 12 through June 14, 2008 I traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand to be a missionary intern. Pictured above you'll find me with a baby elephant at the Mae Ping Elephant Village.
Through the ECMF scholarship I was able to travel to Thailand to work with two organizations, learn the language, and experience a new culture.
This was a once in a lifetime experience that showed me how other people lived, worshiped, and socialized. I learned not to be stressed about life or responsibilities. Bad things will happen, and there is no reason to get all worked up about it. There are so many people who need to know the love of God and this trip really opened my eyes to that. This experience has changed me in the way that I pray, the way that I spend my money, and the way that I share with others the gospel of Jesus Christ and the salvation that we can only find in him.
