Welcome to the new Melick Library Web Portal

Your on-line library

Whether you are an online user or on-site researcher, Melick Library is your destination for information. We are a mix of the traditional and the cutting edge when it comes to resources, and our membership with the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries of Illinois (CARLI) adds even more to the range of research opportunities available to you. The I-SHARE catalog can be accessed 24/7, allowing you to place requests for materials from over 70 academic and research libraries throughout the state.

You can access our licensed databases from anywhere in the world through our proxy server, which is a huge benefit to our many students enrolled in our weekend cohort programs, commuter students, as well as our students pursuing internships.

But, Melick Library is also a place where you can come for coffee, meet up to work on a group project, hammer out a paper in the computer lab…there aren’t many things that DON’T happen at the library throughout the year, so keep your eyes on this space as we keep you posted on the latest events, presentations, and happenings here at Melick Library.
