“Anyone interested in strengthening their communication and leadership skills, taking their careers to the next level or becoming more resilient in the face of setbacks will find practical and useful lessons in the life of Ronald Reagan as presented by Margot Morrell,” said John Morris, director of the Ronald W. Reagan Society of Eureka College, which is sponsoring the event. “Reagan had diverse careers, and similarly many Eureka College students will experience multiple career paths throughout their lives. The lessons of Reagan’s success in different professions relate directly back to the liberal arts education he received at Eureka College,” Morris said.
Morrell is co-author of the New York Times best-seller “Shackleton’s Way: Leadership Lessons from the Great Antarctic Explorer” and the creator of an internationally renowned leadership training program of the same name. She has more than 20 years’ experience working in corporate America and speaks about leadership at business conferences and universities around the world. She has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal and other publications and featured on television and radio programs in the United States and the United Kingdom.
