Eureka College will hold an open house for its weekend degree completion program from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 19 at Burgess Memorial Hall on College Avenue.
The session will provide prospective students with information about the program that allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree on weekends and prepares them to assume management-focused leadership positions at organizations in the public and private sectors.
The weekend format is geared toward individuals who find it challenging to complete a degree in a regular semester format. Those with a transferable associate’s degree or who have completed a minimum of 51 hours of transferable credit hours are eligible to be considered for admission.
Classes meet five successive semesters every other weekend on Friday evenings and all day Saturdays. The 20-month program is based on a cohort model in which students take every class together throughout the entirety of the program. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational leadership.
