EC environmental group to host Save Our Awesome Planet Festival

  The Eureka College Student Alliance for a Greener Environment (SAGE) will host a Save Our Awesome Planet (SOAP) Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. April 6 at Rinker Amphitheater. ‘A Colorful Journey’ art exhibit inspired by Walt Disney World opens March 28 at EC

Walt Disney World-inspired artwork by Eureka College senior Erica Utley of Byron will be on display March 28 through April 16 at Burgess Hall Art Gallery, Eureka College. An opening reception will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. March 28 in the gallery. It is free and open to the public. Exploring the universe through geometric shapes topic of EC presentation

  Eureka College associate professor of mathematics Prabhu Venkataraman will present “Investigating Shapes to Understand Space” at 7:30 p.m. April 15 in the Cerf Center at Eureka College.
