Exploring the universe through geometric shapes topic of EC presentation

Eureka College associate professor of mathematics Prabhu Venkataraman will present “Investigating Shapes to Understand Space” at 7:30 p.m. April 15 in the Cerf Center at Eureka College. A reception will follow.

The free, public presentation will explore the basic geometry of two- and three-dimensional spaces and consider what the different shapes of these spaces reveal about the possible shape of the universe.
The presentation is the final of three Clarence R. Noe Dean’s Lectures by Eureka College faculty members this academic year.
