EC to remember Reagan on 10th anniversary of his death


 

The Ronald W. Reagan Society of Eureka College will host a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of Reagan’s death at 9 a.m. June 5 in the Ronald W. Reagan Peace Garden on campus. It is free and open to the public.

Keynote speaker will be Ann Lewis, president of the board of directors at the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home and Visitors Center in Dixon.

The ceremony will include special music and a wreath presentation. A complimentary breakfast will follow.

The ceremony is underwritten by the Ronald W. Reagan Society of Eureka College and John Graham & Associates of East Peoria.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, Calif., will hold a day-long event marking the anniversary. Eureka College President J. David Arnold and Director of the Ronald W. Reagan Society John Morris will attend that event.
