Eureka College seeks homecoming parade entries

Community entries are being sought to participate in the Eureka College homecoming parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.

"It would be great to have more community participation in the homecoming parade this year," said homecoming chairman Ben McCauley, a junior political science and philosophy and religion major from Mendota. "We invite businesses, school groups, churches, community groups and others to join us for this time of celebration."

To participate, contact either McCauley at bmccauley@eureka.edu or Director of Student Activities Brooke Campbell at 467-6407.

The parade's theme is "Game On: Board Games." It will begin at Eureka High School and move east on Cruger Street to Callender Street. It will jog north on Callender to Eureka Street and continue east, crossing Route 117. At Darst Street, the parade will proceed south to College Avenue, turn east and culminate at North Burgess Street.
