EC Seniors, Dean to Present at National Campus Activities Conference

November 12

Eureka College interim Dean of Students Brooke Campbell and two Eureka College seniors will give presentations at the National Association for Campus Activities Mid-America Regional Conference in Covington, Ky., this fall.

Katelyn Rowen of East Moline and Campbell will present "Homecoming...It's Where It's At!" on Nov. 10.

Benjamin McCauley of Mendota and Campbell will present "Fostering an Environment to Reach Optimum Results" on Nov. 12.

Both presentations draw on the students’ experiences as leaders of the Eureka College Campus Activities Board, which organizes activities for students.

“We are pleased that our submitted proposals were selected for presentation at the conference,” Campbell said. “We want to share Eureka College’s successes with its homecoming program and educate other campuses about how to cultivate a positive student working environment.  We also hope to bring back ideas from other colleges and universities that will attend the conference,” Campbell said.
