Beatles tribute band American English to give free concert

The Beatles tribute band American English will perform a free public concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 in Rinker Open Air Theatre at Eureka College. The concert is the final event in week-long activities observing the college’s homecoming.

The band will perform songs spanning The Beatles’ career from 1963-1970. The show will include costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects.

Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be in Becker Auditorium in the Cerf Center.
