Roanoke woman named Eureka College staff award recipient

Teresa Kennell Honored

Teresa Kennell of Roanoke received the Eureka College staff recognition award at the college's annual holiday dinner for faculty and staff Dec. 12. Kennell has worked in administrative support for the office of development and alumni relations for 10 years.

In naming Kennell as the recipient, Eureka College Vice President for Finance and Facilities Marc Pasteris cited her commitment to the college and its people.  “Teresa puts in effort above and beyond the required 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. duties,” Pasteris said, “and she is more than a co-worker. She is a friend to students, staff and faculty.”

One staff recognition award is given annually to recognize an exemplary staff member. Nominations and the selection are made by students, faculty and staff.
