Eureka College Greeks to hold food drive for Eureka Area Food Pantry

The Eureka College Greek Council will hold a food drive in Eureka from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 to benefit the Eureka Area Food Pantry. The council is comprised of members of the social sororities and fraternities at the college.

“Although Halloween won’t be for a few days, we will be trick-or-treating for canned goods and non-perishable food items instead of candy,” said Greek Council President Michael Quinn of Morris.

The students also will solicit on campus, Quinn said. In addition, drop-off boxes for food items will be located around the campus through October.
