Eureka College seeks homecoming parade entries

Saturday, October 10

Community entries are being sought to participate in the Eureka College homecoming parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.

“It would be wonderful to have more community participation in the homecoming parade this year,” said homecoming chairman Katelyn Rowen, a sophomore business administration major from Toulon. “We invite businesses, school groups, churches, community groups and others to join us for this time of celebration.”

To participate, contact either Rowen at krowen@eureka.edu or Director of Student Activities Brooke Campbell at 467-6407 by Sept. 30.

The parade’s theme is “Time Warp.” It will begin at Eureka High School and move east on Cruger Street to Callender Street. It will jog north on Callender to Eureka Street and continue east, crossing Route 117. At Darst Street, the parade will proceed south to College Avenue, turn east and culminate at North Burgess Street.
