Eureka College student receives national scholarship

Congratulations Seth Quansah

Eureka College sophomore Seth Quansah, a son of Sampson and Susan Adade of Peoria, has received the $2,500 Eby Scholarship from Bickford Senior Living based in Olathe, Kan.

The scholarship based on academic achievement and community service is awarded annually to a college student who has a parent employed by the Bickford company. Quansah’s mother works at Bickford House, Peoria.

Quansah is a 2008 graduate of Peoria Christian High School.  He attends Eureka College on a full-tuition Ronald Reagan Fellowship. He is a biology major enrolled in the college’s pre-medicine program. He volunteers as an activities assistant at the Apostolic Christian Home, Eureka.
