Chamber Singers to present Renaissance Christmas Dinner

The Eureka College Chamber Singers will present their 21st annual Renaissance Christmas Dinner Dec. 4 and 5 in the Terrill Rooms in the Cerf Center.

Pre-dinner refreshments and entertainment will be offered at 6 p.m. Seating for the dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. The meal will include a salad of mixed greens, carved ham, chicken Chablis, parsley potatoes, seasoned whole green beans with bacon, sunflower wheat bread, bread pudding, wassail and beverages.

Cost is $25 or $13 for children 12 and younger.

The Chamber Singers will provide music and entertainment throughout the event, including secular vocal music of the 16th century along with traditional carols celebrating the Christmas season.

The Chamber Singers ensemble is directed by Dr. Joseph D. Henry, professor of music. The event is sponsored by the college’s Division of Fine and Performing Arts.
