Eureka College students named to ‘Who’s Who’

student honors

Twenty-seven Eureka College students have been selected for inclusion in the 2010 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” Nominations were made by Eureka College faculty and staff. Selection was based on students’ academic achievement, community service, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

Seniors included on the list are Erin Bundy of Chillicothe; Jacob Collins of Ransom; Mary Fitch of Galesburg; Mary Garbett of Georgetown, Ohio; Elizabeth Hoff of Hendrum, Minn.; Nicholas Lindsey of Homer; Jason List of Mason City; Erica Lyles of St. Louis; Aaron Phelan and Laura Punke, both of Eureka; Kimberlee Sandall of Pekin; Celia Vineyard of LeRoy; Ashley Warchol of Coulterville; Melissa Wessels of Waterman; Alyssa Wetterauer of Washington; and Erin White of Hamilton.

Juniors included on the list are Mary Ackerman of Morton; Marisa Durley of Roanoke; Jacob Etscheid of Peru; Chaela Jean of Salem; Chelsea Jean of Salem; Elizabeth Judson of Galesburg; Mark Kline of Lewistown; Steven Ford of Romeoville; Bryce Swanson of Maroa; Colleen Toliver of Eureka; and Natalie Wetterauer of Washington.
“Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” includes names of student leaders from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries. The directory has been published since 1934.
